VP: Individual Contributor role to start; potential to grow to regional or pan-European management scope in future

The Senior Marketing Manager, DACH will develop marketing strategy and programs that create strong demand, build customer loyalty and drive revenue growth in Kaspersky Lab’s consumer customer segment in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Working closely with the marketing VP and regional sales leaders, the senior marketing manager will drive the local implementation of the company’s worldwide go-to-market strategy, develop ongoing in-market strategies, and manage all aspects of functional marketing for the retail and online channels. This is a senior, strategic role and a key member of the regional management team; it is also an operational role requiring program execution both independently and via internal cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic marketing leader with vision, creativity and insight who can help propel Kaspersky to an entirely new level of leadership in the marketplace.

What you have to do:

  • Define and execute world-class marketing programs to target the consumer segment, including demand generation, retention/loyalty, brand awareness, customer engagement and advocacy, product launches, promotions and events
  • Develop innovative strategies and programs for customer acquisition and share growth in the retail channel
  • Create targeted marketing programs to drive Kaspersky’s online sales efforts for both new and returning customers
  • Utilize the latest marketing techniques and best practices to build powerful customer engagement and advocacy
  • Identify opportunities for business growth, such as new customer need domains/product offerings, untapped market segments, and innovative routes to market
  • Build and expand the Kaspersky brand’s market leadership position in the region
  • Drive channel partner relationships and programs, including promotions/incentives, education/training and ongoing communication
  • Drive quarterly marketing planning cycle and business review process
  • Serve on regional management team in partnership with sales leaders
  • Own the A&P allocation, management and tracking within the region


Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Deep experience in consumer brand and channel development
  • Strategic agility, passion and drive
  • Proven innovation and creativity in marketing program development
  • Executional excellence and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with sales counterparts and other key stakeholders
  • Strong, seasoned leader whose opinion is widely sought and respected
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills (German and English)
  • Ability to manage budgets and provide detailed ROI measurement


Education and Work Experience:

  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) or consumer electronics experience highly desired
  • B.S/B.A or equivalent
  • 8 - 10 years in a marketing organization
